Reflections for Captain George Thomas Hanlon
Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
God Bless

Captain Hanlon,
I never knew you, but am reflecting on the sacrifice you made for the people of Indiana and am proud to know your story from my Dad, George T Hanlon, your Grandson. I have a sign which was a tribute from a merchant in Hammond who closed their store after your death in honor of your sacrifice. I am framing it and hanging in my home in your honor.
With love, your Great Grandaughter,

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. . Your heroism and service is honored today, the 75th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
