Reflections for Police Officer Raymond Michael Hacker
I have heard stories of you over the years, more from police officers I hired out to work shows I was producing many years ago. I wish we would have met, and I must say that I have heard nothing but great things about you from your fellow officers back in the day.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

Only heard stories of you from your brother Byron T Hacker.
Never had a chance to meet since you had passed before my and my siblings were born.
My Brother was named after you.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 64th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Grandpa I never knew you, but you have always been in my heart and prayers. Know that your daughter has raised a fine family. I followed you into the Navy and had a fine career. Your great-grandson Matt is growing into a fine young man. We have seen your name at the Washington memorial and at the St. Louis memorial as well. Your light was extinguished too quickly, but we carry you with us always. Say hi to Granny for us.
Love,
Mike

Another anniversary of your death has come and although there will be no fanfare, let it be known that you are not forgotten by the men and women of the St. Louis City Police Department.
