You were a good, good man! You took great care of your family, including my mother. You are never forgotten. You are now with my mom in the glories of the Risen Christ. God bless your family left behind.

I was eleven years old when my grandmother and sister woke me to let me know you had been shot. I have remembered you from the days at Franklin Street Baptist Church, as you were our Royal Ambassador leader. The time we all went to Keystone Heights for camping and the snipe hunts. You are simply one of the very best men I have ever known. I was also your next door neighbor for a while. I know you have been the enjoying the glories of heaven, God bless your memory.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 43rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
