Reflections for Town Marshal Leslie A. Green
We never got to to know Grandpa Green but my husband Randy and his brother Ken spent many summers with Grandma Clara when her daughter Betty went to visit in Columbia Falls. And to visit with Uncle Gorden, uncle Les and Uncle kip and cousins. Their other grandparents lived nearby in Summers mt. Melissa and Randy (son of Ron and Betty) Richmond. We recently visited the memorial in Deerpark, Mt

April,
Please contact me if your family lived in upstate SC. Think my parents and your grandparents may have been friends.

This man (LAG) was my Great Grandfather! Tonight I googled him on a whim. I’m so happy to see this write up of him and his service. His son (my grandpa who was 14 when his father was shot) and his grandson (my daddy) were both named after him. My Daddy was L A Green 111. I’m very appreciative of his strength and honor. He was a great man!
Thank you for remembering him!

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
