This page was on my mind so much yesterday after the birth of your 4th great-grandchild in my family on Sunday. I came for a visit, but the page was down. I cherish my time with my grandchildren so very much and it saddens my heart that this special time in a persons life was taken from you.

Give Mom a hug and all the others... God Bless!

In my previous reflection, I left an inaccurate anniversary eow. Today is the 92nd anniversary of your death and you have been missed every year.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 94th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

This is my Grandfathers page. My Mom was 6 years old when he was murdered. My Grandmother returned to Kansas with her children after his death and then my Grandmother passed away when I was one year old so I never knew either of these Grandparents. When my oldest son went to school at Pittsburg State University I took my Mom to Liberal and we went to the site of where the iron bridge had been. It was a very memorable experience for both of us. There was no one left in town who had been around at the time of the incident. We would have liked to get more information, but did get some minimal facts from microfish in Lamar, MO. Thank You for honoring my Grandfather with this page.....
