To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 78th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

mom of fallen Pittsburg (CA) officer Larry Lasater

Dear Patrolman Gordon
Sir, thank you for your service to Western Pacific. And for the ultimate sacrifice you made. I have wonderful friends in Darien, Il. whose son Officer Michael P. Gordon, gave his life in an automobile accident on 08-08-04. So in honor of him I decided to look for every officer by the name of Gordon. You will not be forgotten Sir, you along with all of our Hero's will live forever in our hearts. We never knew this memorial page exisited until each of us lost a loved one that wore a uniform that represented law enforcement. So many years have past, you were taken to Heaven before I was born, yet almost every day we hear of another fallen Hero. I only wish, that if there are decendants from your family, that they knew about this site. So until then, you do have a family that remembers you Sir, and we salute you. Continue to rest in peace along with all of our fallen Hero's. Loving memories. Mother-in-law of

We are not related but just have the same name. I only found it fitting to a reflection to let you know that you have not been forgotten and that you are a hero.
