Reflections for Patrolman Otto Whittington Glover

Well Dad, its been 59 years... You would be 110 years if you were here... I was 15 when you passed.... I had a heart attack the 23rd of this year, your birth day, and died... they did CPR on me for 11 minutes and then God breathed life back into me and gave me another heartbeat... Praise God!! Mike accused me of trying to come see you....
he is 73, Im turning 74 next month, and Pat has gone on to be with the Lord.... Thanks for what you taught me.

Hi, Grandpa, you were gone too soon. I was only two when we lost you, but I came to love you through my mother, your eldest daughter Ruby. Thank you for your service. I hope to meet you in heaven one day.

Great Grandpa,

As I never got to meet you, I know if you were anything like Grandpa Jack, Uncle Steve or Uncle Mike, then you were one hell of a man. Thank you for such a wonderful family that I get to share and the only regret that I have is that I never got to meet you. Stay safe up there patrolling the big streets and keep me a seat reserved in your car, we have a lot to catch up on when I get there. Love you Great Grandpa!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 46th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I am sure that you are proud that your sons continued your legacy of protecting and serving.

Rest In Peace.
