To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

You are the Finest of Finest. Thank you for your service and bravery. You saw what had to be done and you reacted disregarding your own safety. May God continue to watch over you and your family.

Carrying on the proud Irish tradition of the Gallagher's in the NYPD- I wear your very badge with honor and pride. May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead- to my grandfather Larry Gallagher- who would have been proud to see the tradition carried on.
