Your heroism and service is honored today, the 102nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Zeno Fults was my great grandfather, about whom I knew that as a police officer and young husband with two sons he was shot and killed while apprehending someone. My grandfather was his youngest (around 7 at the time), and of course the effects on the family were lasting. I am moved and amazed to find this tribute to him while conducting genealogical research. Thank you so much.
