To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 79th anniversary year of your death.

Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

mom of fallen Pittsburg (CA) officer Larry Lasater

My uncle who had a big impact on my life was hired by NYPD the year you died and retired in 1970 at the rank of Captain. Your heroic sacrifice is not forgotten. the stories have been passed down thru the generations that the NYPD have always been and will always be brave officers who willingly give their lives for others.

Rest in peace brother.

You did all that one man could do and saved the lives of innocent people who would have otherwise been slaughtered. I thank you for your valor. Rest in peace Patrolman.
