Reflections for Patrolman Robert H. Fossum
As a child, I attended Holy Rosary School in Minneapolis with Officers Fossum’s son, and they had lived across 28th street, from where I resided. The killing of Officer Fossum, had a great affect upon me, as a child and even today.

First time I researched this tragic event. Seeing Officer Fossum’s photo was astounding. I was a police officer and worked with the son, John Fossum. John was an amazing officer, and his father was proud as he saw his son from heaven. Robert and John have such an incredible similarity in their appearance., crazy

I went to school at Holy Rosary with Officer Fossum son. The Fossums were in the process of moving to the suburbs when this horrible event occurred. We met some days later and spoke about his father while on the swing. This wanton evil actions should never have occurred .
