Too soon
A loving mother told that her son has been been killed in the line of duty. A devoted wife and children left to grieve. Graduations, weddings, christenings unattended. Anniversaries not celebrated.
Son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws never introduced. Grandchildren without a knee to sit on, a story to be told, a lesson to be learned.
Wherever you may be - you are missed.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 89th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace.
