Hard to believe there is a new story now and another sacrifice to democracy as you are joined by Washington DC Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick. Take care of him and yourself as you walk the beat together.

Deputy Flacy as I sit here in my room at Hotel 816 I reflect on the picture that I read in the hallway concerning your demise. The violence you faced while trying to make it safe for the citizens of KC is so sad yet was seen so often in KC during that era. To is so sad that your wife only had you for 17 days. Thank you for your service. I will toast you tonight with our group as we prepares for the KC St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 78th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. It w a travesty of justice that your killer only served a three year sentence.
Rest In Peace.
