Reflections for Immigration Inspector Charles Michael Flachs
Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.

On this 78th anniversary of your murder, I wish to thank you for your service to this nation and thank all who serve in a capacity which protects our borders. We are a nation overrun by illegal aliens and little ever seems to get done about it. Regardless of what must seem like a total waste of time, people like you are out there trying their best to keep the borders of the United States secure. It's amazing how hard you all try and I for one thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Inspector Flachs, your efforts to protect us, and your efforts to aide a colleague were what makes you a hero. It's just so sad that your life was taken in the mission.
God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

Most would have run in fear. You ran into harms way. While most would have thought about themselves, your thought about your partner. You ran into the gunfire.
You Sir ate a true HERO. You did not run for self preservation, you ran to save someone. THANK YOU...
God Speed Brother...
