Your heroism and service is honored today, the 90th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. . My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I am Patrolman Finnigan's grandson. I'm so glad that I found this memorial on the internet. My Dad, William J., was a teenager when my grandfather was killed. Thus, I never had the privilege to know him. But I revere the memory of his life and service in Irvington.
I graduated from Irvington H.S. in 1953. Today I serve as a chaplain and counselor in a Rescue Mission in Youngstown, OH.
Thanks, Gramp, for your dedicated life.
