Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace.
Rest In Peace

Officer Fenton,
You responded to a call, like you have done many times before.
You put yourself in harms way, because you were doing your job with honor and courage.
You were shot, and mortally wounded, but still managed to fire back on your attackers. You never gave up the fight.
God bless you Sir,
You will never be forgotten.
