I'm Mr Jody Farr born Feb 12th, 1958 South of Oklahoma City. Walt (Nig) Ausborn Farr died Salt Lake city Prison 1961 was My Father. Our main family burial plot would be in Tribbey Oklahoma going back 3 generations or so. I have been told We had a Sheriff in the family. This has got to be Him He looks EXACTLY like My Older Brothers and Myself. He could be a close relative. The Farr family was resourseful and reputedly involved in anything naking easier money than farm or ranch work. Nobody knows for certain where the money to support a large successful family buying and owning quite a bit of unused rural property ideal for farming, but curiosly never used. Alcohol fermintatiin (Whiskey still?) is a theory.
Any related info would be interesting. Thanks! ~Jody Farr @ [email protected]

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Sheriff Farr - Sounds like you were leading from the front, Sir. Of all the freak accidents to lead toward your death...such a tragedy.

Two Fridays ago, I stood in the State Assembly chamber, when your name was one of the almost 250 read off during a motion regarding next month's Police Memorial Week. We will, at that time, wear our mourning bands in memory of all who have fallen in service to our communities. Thank you for your service to the people of Huerfano County and the State of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.
