Lee Fahler was my Grandfather's younger brother. His Son (8 years old at the time of his death) was a close cousin to my Father. The story of his tragic death has been handed down to his family members through the generations. He was a hero in all of our hearts and his memory will never be forgotten. God rest his soul. Blue Lives Matter.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the ninety-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never dimishes respect and you will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace
