Reflections for Deputy William Henry Everett

Deputy Everett,
On today, the 70th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the Ambulance Corps during World War I. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

As a former two term sheriff of Rice County, Kansas I assure you have not been forgotten. I had a plaque made that hangs in the lobby of the new law enforcement facility to remind everyone, on a daily basis, of your sacrifice.
