Reflections for Officer Kevin Michael Burrell
Kevin,
Jim and I attended the funeral of a very special man, your father. We spent sometime visiting with your mom and the rest of the family while there. Your family is our family and they always make us feel so welcome. I wish we had been there under better circumstances but a comforting thought is knowing that your dad is with you and Jimmy. All of you will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.

The Compton Police Department was disbanded on September 17, 2000. Most of us are now Deputy Sheriffs. All the guys and girls still miss you Kevin and Jimmy.
