Tommy,
It's hard to believe 28 years have gone by, I remember a cookout at Timmy's house in Holbrook the summer before, I remember that night like it was yesterday I swapped the night off or would've been working in A1 or A7. You're not forgotten by the BPD or DH&H. You'll always be a hero. You'd be proud of your son.

I’m a sister-in-blue from Los Angeles. On a visit to BPD on Sudbury Street, I looked up and saw the posted memorial street sign in your honor. I took a picture. I came across the nearby garden dedicated to Homicide victims. I sat and researched your story. You are clearly loved by those you left behind and you are still remembered, even by those you never knew. RIP.

Thinking of this American hero on the anniversary of his line of duty death. I live in South Boston and I support our law enforcement Officers. Here is a great quote from our mayor. "I am proud of being the Mayor of the City of Boston and I am proud to be a strong supporter of our police department. I love the men and women of the Boston Police Department." - Martin Joseph Walsh 54th Mayor of Boston. Thank you for your proven dedication to our nation. Your loss will always be a tremendous loss for this nation.

I met Tom once when I asked him directions to Newbury Comics. In just that one short minute of conversation, I knew he was a nice guy the minute he started talking. My heart sank when I saw his picture on tv and what had happened to him. I'm deeply sorry for the family and friends. Its sort of a ripple effect to people that hardly knew him, like myself.

I had the honor to meet Thomas Rose's family today. I wish we could have done more and hope that of our efforts helped you feel more comfortable.
My thoughts and prayers are sincere and I hope that todays proceeding adds a little closure to your loss.
The presence of BPD was absolutely awesome and reminds all of us of why we do what we do!! I imagine Sgt. Rose smiled as he saw his family and brother/sister officers were there to assure this Convicted Killer one thing...... This Law Enforcement Family is simply invinceable.
RIP Sgt Rose.

I only had my father for a short part of my life, but remember him very vividly and miss him incredibly to this day. It is an honor to be the daughter of such an amazing, honorable and courageous man. My father would be celebrating his 61st birthday on the 17th of this month, I just wish I could have witnessed him as an old man enjoying the company of his amazing family. I love you Dad.

The murderer of Officer Rose, Muhammad Terrell, was just arrested for ADW on 2 Cranston, RI Police Officers as well as eluding police after a high speed pursuit that originated from a traffic stop in Cranston, RI on July 30th.
Why this piece of trash is even walking the streets after the senseless murder of a police officer in a police station is beyond me. Hopefully he spends some serious time in jail for his recent crimes.
CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE OFFICER ROSE. YOU ARE GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.
