Although I never got the opportunity to meet you in person I did hear a lot of about you from Grandma, our family and friends. Thank you for giving all of us four wonderful, caring, loving, and kind people, your four children, before your untimely death. My Aunt Thelma, Uncle George, Shirley (my Mother), and Uncle Eddie.
We will never forget you and continue to pray for the truth and answers of what happened on September 15, 1937, the night you lost your life in the line of duty.

This was my Dads uncle. I remember seeing a plaque with his badge when I was a kid and being told the story.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace
