I did not get the chance to meet such a wonderful person. I remember receiving the call from Gloria Rivera (RIP) & handing the photo over to her eldest daughter as she hears the news....she drops the phone & is in a state of shock. I then pick up the phone & ask what's going on....her cousin has been shoot in the head responding to a call. I'll never forget that day or the call. It's always a bad day anytime we loose a police officer doesn't matter where in the world. RIP Carlos Correa you have been joined by your family members that missed you dearly .

Your heroism and service is honored today, the nineteenth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Cousin,

I'm sorry I haven't stop on this page for a while unfortunately I had to stop to give my condolences to my Fellow Officer Matt Morelli who was shot & killed on Good Friday responding to a suspicious activity call that he came upon. It is a great loss like you. You guys were here to serve & protect and it is very unfortunate that his life & your life were taken the way it was taken. You guys are gone but never forgotten. You & Officer Morelli will live in my heart. Luv you cousin

I talked to Mirna the other day and she told me Mariano is big and doing good in school. I wish you was still with us you might be gone but never forgotten. I hope you are proud of me I have being working as a Public Safety Telecommunicator for about 10 years now and I love it. Luv you cousin and hope to see you back in heaven

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003).

We all grieve over the lives lost in the line of duty. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that there are countless prayers that go out for your family.

Officer Serrano, you are remembered on this date of your death. You will always be remembered.

These are senseless tragedies that never seem to stop. God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.

...Gone, but never Forgotten....
