To David's Family ,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your pain i'm sure is still felt today even 15 years after he has left you.
He has not been forgotten and his sacrifice for all of us will be remembered.
We have lost our nephew in the line of duty to protect us and we now grieve along side of you and remember the man and the love of what he did to keep us all safe.
Please know we feel your grief and we live now to remember the wonderful people that they were in this life.
Be strong and carry on.

Fifteen years ago David Distrola gave his life serving the community of Bradford, Pennsylvania. We remember and honor his service. I will take a framed memorial (8 x 10 frame with David's story and police patch) to place at the National Police Memorial in Washington, DC next week. With fallen officers from all over the nation being honored during National Police Week, our David should be included in a personal way. May we never lose another officer in our small town.
