Your heroism and service is honored today, the 81rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace

Although it has been 80 years since your sacrifice you will never be forgotten by the CPD. While reading your information I learned another Chicago police officer, James Corcoran, was shot and killed on the every same day as you, in an apparent unrelated incident.
The sacrifice of you and P/O Corcoran is proof of the history of fine dedication by CPD officers. Thank you.
