Reflections for Federal Prohibition Agent Malcolm Malachi Day

I just found out today that my great-great grandfather died when my great grandmother was just about 1-2 years old. I also fund out that she had 11 brothers and sisters. I really wish I could've met you Grandpa Mac. Your grandson is probably the best man I've ever met. I hope that I will get to read the book The Legend Of Mac Day sometime this summer. God Bless You All. Thank You!

My Father, Robert D. Day worked along side Uncle Mac in Virginia or West Virginia for several years. Unfortunately, I never got to meet Mac Day nor many more of the Dad's relatives.

This was my great grandfather. His son Alexander D. Day (my grandfather) was also killed in the line of duty. I therefore was never able to meet either one of these heroes. The dynamics of my family for generations to come was changed because of the service to our Country and the State of West Virginia. Special Agent Day had a book written about him, The Crusader. I am very honored to be a descendent of such a great lineage.

Angent Day was my great great grandfather, and even though I have never met him, all I hear is great things about him. I have just started in Law Enforcement, and hope I can have the affect that he did. Anyone who gives there life to protect others is more than a hero, they are an angel. god bless you and all the others that have fallen to protect.
