Reflections for Officer Brent David Wisdom
Hi Brent,
I was just thinking about you and how much of a great fiend you were. You were an incredible pitcher with an awsome curve ball. I miss catching for you..We had some great moments and they will always be with me.

The fire of the year has died down to glowing embers.
Embers..the memories of what has passed.
Black ashes....the sorrow and pain.
Yet there remains that which fire forms, not distroys.
Diamonds...these are the memories we treasure.....
a smile, a look, a special moment,courage.Love.
Soon the fire of the new year will be lit will be lit by the glowing embers of the past.
The circle is complete.

Brent its been a long time since we played poker. I had the honer of talking with Hank a day before his death by telephone. I never understood why you wanted to be a police officer until I became one. A little girl told me why I was on patrol one day, that she loved police officers because they protected her while she sleeps. That was the moment I fully understood why police officer put their lives on the line. I will sleep better that you and Hank will watch over us while we are on patrol.

Hi Brent,
how you doing? We lost a rookie yesterday, a WPC.Shot as she went to a call at a Travel Agents. It was her little child's fourth birthday.Another death. Why?
I have always been proud that we did not arm our officers..my family only did 'The Job' as they called it armed with their Night Sticks (Batons). Now I want them armed.

I find you haunting my thoughts. You were still little more than a boy when you died. You share a birthday with my grandson.I cry for you Mom who never will get those grandkids from you.Little more than a boy you may have been but you were so obviously a courageous man.
