Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

I just now discovered the Officer Down Memorial Page through an internet link. I knew that my grandmother's brother had been killed in the line of duty with the Montgomery Police Dept. and was hoping to find his memorial- sure enough I did. On behalf of our family I want to thank you for this memorial service and thank you all for your remembrances. I had the honor in 2010 of visiting the officers memorial in front of the Montgomery Police Dept and seeing Earl's name on the memorial. God Bless all of our law enforcement officers around the country- past, present and future!

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 93rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
