Reflections for Sergeant John A. Dauway
It was my honor to finally research and find your photo in a newspaper article regarding the incident and upload it to the website. The incident struck me because I used to pass by your work building every day during your my lunch break. You are never forgotten and always thought of!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 21rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
