Your heroism and service is honored today, the 106th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

From the 1900 U.S. Census: John F. Daley, Jr., was the son of John and Julia Daley. In 1900, he was single and living with his parents at 110 Cherry Street (street numbering system was changed in 1918). His father was a teamster, and he had two brothers, Owen and Edmund Daley. John's grandparents were Irish immigrants to the U.S.
Not to be forgotten.
