Reflections for Officer Eliot O. Daley
Rest in peace. You were my uncle and I remember you.
I was seven when you were killed. My family moved from the Boston area to Napa to be with your mother, my grandmother. I am pleased to see this memorial.
Note that the map does not show the exact location of the accident on old California Highway 40 (San Pablo Ave) near the newer Highway 80.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 67th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
