Your heroism and service is honored today, the 57th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

To his daughter Adonna, I hope that you have been able to meet with people in the COPS orgainization where you reside.

Thank you to the thoughtful ones who created this website. I was 15 years old when my father died on duty at 1am in the morning and I remember it very clearly. I am now 68 and moved out of the bay area but still living in Calif. Thank you again for remembering.
