Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

Officer Curtis, Last night I watched A&E's "Cold Case Files" and was so pleased to see that although 45 years later, your department's investigators and investigators from the L.A. County Sheriff's Office arrested your murderer. You and Officer Phillips would have been so proud of their relentless efforts . . . they were so impressive. I'm so proud of them.
You and Officer Phillips are true heroes . . . you truely protected the community, California and the country. I honor you, your name, your memory and your sacrifice. Rest easy blue angel . . . your brother and sister officers have achieved justice for you and your partner. We will never forget either of you. God Bless the Officers of both El Segundo and the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department for their tireless dedication to the pursuit of justice. I heard about this story on Paul Harvey news today January 30, 2003. I thank God that the killer has been brought to justice. Rest in peace blue angel.
