This was my Great-Grandfather. His death left my Grandmother an orphan as her Mother died of cancer when she was very small. I wish people understood that it's not just the police officer that dies or makes those sacrifices. The entire family does, the survivors do. My Grandmother passed the pain of this loss to her kids, and theirs. BLUE LIVES MATTER FOREVER. It made me cry like a little kid at 47 to see his life recognized by his family that actually gets this so long after he AND his daughter have left this world. Thank you. You see him and I see you. You matter to me.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
