Policeman Crowley - Yours is a tale of true courage. You faced down and shot it out with, not one - but two, bad guys. You paid the ultimate price for being who we are and doing what we're supposed to do. May God grant you eternal rest, and may yours be the "little voice" that tells us to "keep fighting, no matter what!"

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 78th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
