I never knew Officer Croff, but I do know Ginger and if she is anything like her Grandfather, then she did follow him. I am proud that my girls have a Great Grandfather and cousin like them both.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 91rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Today 4/27/12 we participated in "Project Hero". Project Hero is a new program. we as active and retired Officers go out to the grave sites of our fallen brothers and sisters (our Heroes) and fly an American flag and a Thin Blue line flag next to their graves for the entire month of May. We also take time to salute these Heroes in their final place of rest. Thank you Officer Frank Angelo Croff for giving the ultimate sacrafice

I joined the department, not to follow in his steps but to honor his steps...I am sorry I was never fortunate to know the man, only the memories.
