Captain Craw and Officer Mallory were true heroes that we all can emulate while we wear the badge and go on patrol. I talked about you at length while doing a History Channel program on Railroad Police. I was a Captain for the NYS&W RR at the time I did the TV presentation and the "battle" that took your life took place in my rail yard in (1912) Edgewater (Shadyside), NJ. Captain Craw, today marks the 94th anniversary of your murder. No union can justify murder in furthering its goals and the events of that day are a disgusting blot on an otherwise proud history of organized labor. You and Officer Mallory were protecting a vital part of the American economy and it has always taken a special breed to be a Railroad \cop. I thank you for your efforts and pray for your descendants.

Each day I try to read the ODMP. Today I read your story. Any officer who dies in the line of duty will always be remembered for his sacrifice. You died a hero. Rest in peace Captain Craw.
