Your heroism and service is honored today, the 62nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

I have had the privilege to work with Officer Costello’s son, Tom, who is also a member of the Chicago Police Department – a Sergeant. I have never met Officer Costello but if what they say about the apple not falling far from the tree is true, I know that he was an exceptional Police Officer. We can’t say it enough… Thanks for your dedication and sacrifice.
