Priorities must be put into their rightful order. Honesty, integrity and dignity from all public servants. Not 99 out of 100. Everyone is supposed to be working within the framework of the law. The legal system demands excellence and good morals. Conduct becoming not only a human being, it must be amped up higher to drive despair and evil away from our locations. Dade County was your starting place, Officer Cook, heroism as you lived, breathed and fought like heck for our freedoms to take shape, a basis of hope and fruition all geared, focused and centered upon the welfare and humility so valuable and sacred to mankind's causes of living,our passions and purposes to make this world better for our futures. Sure would have been nicer if you were allowed to live to see these changes and your retirement with your beloved Karen. God only knows and I'm sure even though she has remarried she thinks of her darling and heroic husband. You honored humanity by honoring God and your adoring parents my you all rest in peace my neighbors, friends and heroes. I can say this Officer Cook because of how they raised both you and your big sister, Nancy. Angels above floating like doves, birds of peace. Our world cannot seem to recover from this violence and scenes of unfathomable acts of just plain bad public servants disrespecting their badges and uniforms. Those men and women who serve and protect yet violate the law must be held accountable and duly punished. Our ways in life,our journeys, missions and happiness all came as a result of your unselfish sacrifice. As sacred and as resourceful as your heart and mind along with your soul of essential wisdom and guidance, it really should not have ended for you, your family and department as it shamefully and tragically did. You'll always be looked up to for respect and gratitude, the fortitude to succeed in calming and restoring what our land needed in recapuring. Sincerity flatters.
