Reflections for Police Officer William Coleman Cook

The papers said it all. A loyal soldier gave his soul so our hearts could beat furthermore. Yes, Officer Cook, your unassuming dignity and valor were exposed here in Dade County to assist your comrades in stopping one wayward and sinister young man. A man whose had a girlfriend and I believe a child. An individual who lived with three generations of family and who should have valued respect, honor and integrity as you certainly did. You and Nancy were both raised with values, mettle and proper conduct. No man can get married to a wonderful wife you had for four all too short years of sacred bounty to Karen, without these traits. So humble and humanely valiant, yet beneath it all heart and soul functioning to both protect and serve as one entity. You'll be fondly, stoically and solemnly saluted for grace and composure under pressure and be thought of as your family's own heroic warrior. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.
