Where your humility and character forevermore rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero those green pastures are sure that an dmore so with angels of valor patrolling those pearly gates of gallantry, boldness and morals. A sacrifice made in order for those foundations of fruition and cornerstones of fiery courage to be recalled with reverence. A great young man taken way too soon. Rest in peace along with your devoted and faithfully beloved parents.

With a sense of profound excellence and dedication second to none could you truthfully and in a trustworthy manner go ahead with your prolific patrols of all Dade County, Officer Cook. Devotion and dignity were more than just token notions just as integrity and honesty were some of your loyal and humble partners in all your professional successes. But, yet, never more solemnly and fondly remembered. You made your parents, sister and of course your beloved wife, Karen all very prideful yet she of course misses you and for thirty years tried to continue with your heroic legacy constantly by her very side. Mankind blossomed under your guidance. Society found that strip of serenity to make its days more purposeful. Humanity geared its mettle to your persevering nature. Deceitful is dishonesty nothing worse for any public servant whose respect and integrity are squarely placed in danger everyday to protect the public at large. Your years and life, Officer Cook, were humbly and heroically utilized for a sacred and most noble purpose. A passion and aspiration you had since your youth. Nothing stood in front to block nor deter your humility and journeys to distribute peace and prosperity within the heart and landscape of Dade County. And nothing will harm you again as your spirit is safely tucked away in heaven where your eternal watch is 24-7. You continue to be sadly missed by your beloved family and truly loyal comrades. I truly hope all your comrades who toiled honorably beside of you, Officer Cook, are doing reasonably well. Officer Keith DiGenova, who worked as your occasional partner still suffers from the affects of his injuries over forty-one years ago and is always in our prayers. Officer Robert Edgerton and your last partner, Reserve Officer Scott Lincoln, we hope are doing well in their retirements. Perhaps Officer Lincoln might still be patrolling Dade County where you gave your life my neighbor, friend and hero.
