In police work the art of securing and yet nothing seems perfect and so much even with excellent integrity, dignity and a mighty strong heart, things can go chaotically bad. That day of May 16, 1979, Officer Cook, you lent your unselfish and unwavering heroism to your colleagues and the people of Dade County making them united and stronger. Dade County was searching for stability,for harmony and meaning, your life and career choice, Officer Cook, so valiant and gifted brought newer foundations and created the esteemed bonds of faith and goodwill that shall be revered, admired and saluted for generations to come. Complacency is unacceptable. Incompetence is inexcusable. Faith not withstanding, your devoutness, Officer Cook, was very God fearing and most heroic.
