Dearly respected and cherished for unselfish, unending and unrelenting support and complete composure as a duly organized professional never forgotten. Rest in peace. In life things take time. In policing a community time is not always going to be there. There needs to be a clearly constructed methodology to battling terror and violence. You were trained and grilled on the principles of being prepared to meet evil, Officer Cook and you are and always will be Dade County's hero. I surely wished we could have shared one together, Officer Cook, after a set or two of tennis which keeps you fit. You kept the peace and culture of Dade County by virtue of your serenity and vivid versatility to lessen the adversarial advantages of evil that at times lingers like a cold. A round peg in a square hole does not normally go. In police work what may not be the way to travel is the way to go out and implement justice, truth and trust. You did your heroic part, Officer Cook, shielding Dade County from adversity. Humanity has not one second overlooked your honesty, integrity and dignity all giving a hand to put out violence. It took all your unwavering acumen and being astute, Officer Cook,to knockout violence once and for all. A hero of high class and decency who relished his years all too short serving his community of Dade County. A master motivator, a very deserving and dedicated leader of others, you toiling and tenacity was brought straight to the streets where you dutifully patrolled and gained a deeper appreciation and insight for what it took to combat offensive behavior. A vastly different scene today but from heaven's perfect terraces you can watch over your family and colleagues trying to perform as you did so wonderfully.
