Life and police work are not repeat not child's play. And pity the foolish who don't realize this. They make our lives safer and more constructive to ponder, to walk,run,bike or drive. It takes so much of everything, tools of the profession known to these brave heroes and heroines. Heart, honor,humility,soul and some gut searching character, courage and dignity all composed of integrity and humility which you steadfastly maintained throughout your twenty-five years, Officer Cook. So morally upright, heroic and surely most passionate of your work defending and protecting the goodness,goodwill and good graces of all Dade County,mankind and the sanctity of live so special just as your soul and virtue never to be forgotten. Vague is not a valid meaning or purpose for performing a cause. A more worthy tool to solve and to resolve conflict is plain honesty, simple dignity and humble integrity for without these three items of ingenuity,intelligence and intuition one has nothing to begin those difficult fights and battles with. Adversity presents all kinds, all sorts of tumalt, terror and torment. Dade County never wanted you to be cut down, Officer Cook, losing your young and vibrant life while you were accomplishing a goal and that was to restore calm and order.
