Reflections for Police Officer William Coleman Cook
No dedicated man or woman worth a grain of salt would ever disregard any call where a comrade's life and citizens' lives are at risk. You, Officer Cook, showed class and high regard for your fellowman and your loyal and most esteemed colleagues who have not forgotten you. Dade County was fairly fortunate to have among its ranks a man of honesty, dignity and integrity and a gentleman truly humane and loyal to take on any calls beyond your regular ones. The heavens are secure because of your angelic presence. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Ferocity, fortitude and ingenuity will trump lack of honor, diligence and respect. One who can't keep any semblance of honesty, integrity and dignity does not belong in public service much less any earthly position where excellence and total comprehension are always demanded. You exerted your full heart, soul and heroic actions, Officer Cook, to carry on with your sacred tasks of humility to further enrich, uplift and enhance Dade County. Never once forgotten and saluted for resolve and faithful resourcefulness. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

A truly pious man laboring for peace, stability and the fruitful purposes for which our country stands. Serenity, safety and security are the hallmarks of any duly qualified man or woman who have the largest of onuses placed upon their hearts and souls to preserve, protect and to make liberty more than a viable option for a contented life. You earned your stripes, Officer Cook, by being the symbol of your department and a hero who represented the virtues and values of what an honest, humble and well respected man of integrity, character and dignity are about. Clueless, classless and callousness are going to ring bells and sound loud alarms. You see these are not symbolic of any kind of normal human being. They are hideous, ignominious and most repulsive. They tear at society's garments and never make any sense for those determined to serve proudly, honorably and humbly. You were victimized, Officer Cook, by a most terrible man so tragic and just so senseless. A representative of Dade County law enforcement striving to make an indentation within humanity's walls of humility, heart and soul. For giving your life may God hold your special soul and spirit in His giant palms of caring and affection forevermore as you rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. It starts with every letter in the alphabet and ends with zest and zeal all real, truthful and trusted in earnest. Scruples can trip up serious evil and that day you attempted to hold your own against one disrespectful and dishonest individual. Your outstanding conduct was stellar, sterling and truly stoic in the face of trying adversity.
