You are cherished and still are beloved by your loved ones and comrades of the past who were fortunate to see a retirement as you, Officer Cook, stood humble, tall and extremely brave in the face of terror that awful day. Honor. Integrity and dignity that captured Dade County's hearts. Yours, my neighbor, friend and hero built newer foundations and uplifted the sincerity of mankind while adversity was running rampant. For being humane and for undertaking sacred missions my Our Master shield your spirit in His arms as you gracefully walk your beat above. Rest in peace. So careful, concerned and considerate, every ample supply was utilized in your undying and tireless endeavors to unite us with peace and stability. No small potato either. For a gentleman steeped in tradition and in tenacity may the good Lord bless and reward your revered spirit now and now as an angel of boldness who seized upon opportunity to catch the evildoers who mock tranquility. Never again and may you rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. Serenity, security and safety must speed down those roads in order to crush violence. One might ponder a few tweaks here and there would suffice and violence would just dissipate. Sadly that's not quite the plan. A stable nature, goodwill and hope will enliven us and maybe then the situations will change for the better. Humanity certainly misses you, Officer Cook, a gentleman primed and available to battle adversity better than most and thanks to your wisdom, vision and maturity the tasks were able to be completed and sadly because of one unearthly man you were called back to heaven for a more important task that only Our Creator knows the finer points. Police don't need to be brow beaten to accomplish. The streets are perilous enough that going out on patrol is a lesson unto itself. The stakes are high every moment and the tension is always waiting to boil over. You tried simmering a young man down that day, Officer Cook, utilizing every possible resource at your disposal and for whatever the reason he was affixed with wanting to kill any officer who stood between him and justice. Surely, a legend and a blessed heroic name to be cherished forever. You were born into dignity,devotion and integrity as it remained diligently instilled and implanted in your heart,mind and soul. Dade County won't forget such a loyal and trusted servant of character, commitment to morals and convictions are true and tenacious. Police patrol and fly in helicopters day and night looking to cutoff evil before it unleashes its sinister forces against society. You answered sadly what was your final call, Officer Cook, such a heroically young man primed and ready to do battle with a man so lacking in honor, character and respect for mankind. Dade County misses you of course and so does your beloved family. You'll always be in their hearts, thoughts and prayers as they march on with your ideals, principles and morals from a positively with built environment raised by two loving and devoted parents.
