I told you that whenever I see a plane in the sky I think of you going to some tropical destination. You dealt with everything that could be thrown at you, Officer Cook, Unfortunately, that day of May 16,1979,stability and peace of mind for Dade County residents was hard to come by. One man standing alone, troubled, depressed whatever who lacked any character or fiber of honesty took your life and nearly those of your colleagues one of whom suffers from his serious injuries today. We can pray for your heroic soul and for that of Officer Keith DiGenova, your comrade, friend and tennis buddy. Better to be hitting forehands and backhands than by lobbing violence at Mother Nature. Stability means just that. And if one ingredient is missing the whole equation may be off balance.
