The sun shines this morning this moment but later on who knows God's meteorological plans? That very day of May 16, 1979 the sun was shining when you, Officer Cook, gave your life for Dade County to reside in liberty and in tranquility. One odd yet boldly evil man took your life of honor,integrity and dignity away from you,your family and close comrades and nearly killed your fellow officers. Heroism as I've said is not just placed on a silver platter and gift wrapped. It's learned, shared,practiced and eventually is the makings of a solid foundation, a meaningful and reverent home environment of which the Cook Household was forever devout, honest and faithful.
