Your official position, Officer Cook, called for the best of training, learning and in gaining experience that a well conditioned man or woman requires to battle the viciousness that violently rocks our very society. Dade County was your home and you enjoyed following after your heart's desire to become a fine human being and an excellent public servant. Nothing unfortunately can bring you back to your family, they have many humble memories of their "Uncle Bo." One short block and five minutes maybe a tad longer and memories to sadly last a lifetime forever. Violence does not look at a stopwatch, it just exacts mayhem,chaos and bedlam from the stomach and pangs of our world throwing things more than a little off kilter. A very decent, noble and honest young man who was just performing his duties about to end his shift when this last call came through the radio.
