Reflections for Police Officer William Coleman Cook
Strife seizes its negative opportunities to create a society that can go astray. You created goodwill, esteem and loyalty, Officer Cook, being honest, persevering and very dignified and humble. A hero of integrity whose charm, charisma and candor earn you a sacred place within the history of your community and those who sacrificed their heart, soul and spirit so that mankind can live freely and without a residue of retribution. A man whose ideals, values and scruples mattered and for that my neighbor, friend and hero may God bless you and safeguard you forever in His wings of love and compassion. Rest in peace.

Trouble is rudeness that torments every living being on earth. Dade County and where you toiled were just a stone's throw away from your home and yet, everyday unselfish, tireless and undying character, honor and integrity were placed aside your unrelenting dignity to help solve conflicts, to resolve problems before they worsened. It's forever a shame you had to pay the ultimate price for our peaceful missions to go on because your life and its happiness had all the meaning and importance of everyone else too. Your family plans and prays that your special and sweet soul ascends that ladder of humbleness every second. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.
